The Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III cost $5,000 when it rolled off the production line almost 50 years ago (1971-72). At the time it was the world’s fastest four-door passenger car, and now a near original version has gone under the hammer for $1.030m after spirited bidding.

AIHW REPORT: HOSPITAL ADMISSIONS AND LENGTH OF HOSPITAL STAYS - PRIVATE & PUBLIC
Admissions to public hospitals are growing faster than admissions to private hospitals, according to a new report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW). The report, Admitted patient care 2016–17: Australian hospital statistics, shows that of the 11 million admissions to hospitals in 2016–17, 6.6 million were in public hospitals and 4.4 million were in private hospitals.
